2  The National Convention allows engineering students:  To network with other engineering students from different regions/states  To become familiar with several engineering companies and graduate schools throughout the United States  To handle affairs dealing with NSBE regionally and nationally

3  Behavior  We are representing Auburn University at the convention so act like you got some sense  Be weary of the non-AU students you choose to associate with (high school students/red badges).

4  Continental Airlines  Luggage is $50 USD (round-trip) for Continental Airlines  Continental will permit one bag plus one personal item per customer to be carried on the aircraft. The maximum combined linear measurement (L + W + H) of the carry-on bag is 45 inches (115 cm)up to 14 in x 9 in x 22 in. The maximum weight of the carry-on bag is 40 pounds (18 kg)  Please do not pack your room unless you want to pay for it

5  Packing Suggestions  Business-professional Suit (or two) ▪ Career Fair  Business casual slacks ▪ For meetings and workshops  Dress shirts and/or polos  Casual shoes  Comfortable clothes for night outings

6  Day: Tuesday, March 30, 2010  Departure time → 12:15 pm EST (11:15 am CST)  Flight number: C02185  Remember to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before the flight. 7  Again, transportation to and from Canada Airport will be YOUR responsibility.  Shuttle to Westin-Harbor Castle will be $33 USD (round-trip)  Pay the driver of the shuttle when you get there and he/she will give you a ticket. Do not lose your ticket.

9  This trip is 5-days so take that into account when calculating spending budget  You CAN NOT use your debit/credit card in Canada if it is not unlocked  Use cash  Food and extra expenses are on YOU, not the chapter  The hotel does not offer a complimentary breakfast  Everything is more expensive in Canada

10  While in Toronto, we will be having a chapter outing  Kevin will keep us posted  This is not a free event  Auburn Alumni are invited

11  The amount of your refund is based on how much you participated in fundraising and other NSBE events.  Refunds will be distributed before the end of this week.
