A genuine LDP aims at identifying and nurturing the leadership quality and attributes in potential future leaders. LDP prepares a potential leader to lead ethically. Such future leaders therefore need to act authentically and identify the future leaders by: Listening Mentoring Workshops Rewards Recognition

A true leader is one who is able to anticipate change and plan for the future. Charismatic – natural leaders who are able to make necessary changes happen within organisation or their respective community. Transactional – such leaders have authorities to make sure certain tasks are completed and accordingly reward or punish individuals or team’s performance. Transformational – such leaders motivate their team to achieve set goals effectively and efficiently.

What does differentiate me from the others? Higher Education sector has a crucial role to play for developing a systematic and transparent Leadership Development Programme (LDP); because some individuals may not be aware of their leadership quality but they potential true leaders. Leadership today is supposed to be about: Inspiration Positive change Driving success Creating the future leaders
