Initial concerns regarding the use of strong concentrations of hydrogen peroxide in the hairdressing and beauty industries. Previously it was illegal in the UK to supply a product if it contains or releases more than 0.1% hydrogen peroxide.

Products containing or releasing more than 0.1% cannot be used on under 18s Products containing or releasing between 0.1% and 6% can only be sold to a dentist
