Background In 21 st century, air conditioner has become a necessary home appliance. Consequences that are becoming more obvious are: 1. the depletion of ozone layer due to chloroflourocarbon (CFC) released to the atmosphere. 2. high amount power consumption. A device which can provide cold air and act as a portable air cooler.

Problem Statement Hot climate in Malaysia causes non-air conditioned room to be hotter than normal. High amount of chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) is released to the atmosphere. High amount of power consumption. Air-conditioner is expensive and it is unportable.

Objectives To introduce a new portable type of air conditioner in the market. To reduce the cost of using air conditioner. To replace water circulation system in air conditioner

Working Principle Switch on the power supply to turn on the cooler Peltier dissipate the coldness to the heatsink Air is sucked in by inlet fan The air is cooled by the large surface area of heat sink Cold air is blowned out by the outlet fan

Result and Discussion Data Collection and Analysis Air flows is cooled by 5.5 ⁰ C in 1 hours 30 minutes using peltier. The coldness of the peltier depends on the current flows. As the time increases, the temperature will be decreased.

Advantages of ECO Thermo Cooler Portable with ease of carrying around and operate with present of AC supply. Does not produce harmful gases into the atmosphere. Low power consumption Provide instant cold air Affordable and user-friendly

Recommendations Increase the amount of peltier used. Ultilize peltier with better specification. Enclosed the air flow channel to prevent cold air leakage Immerse the heat sink in the water to increase the humidity

Conclusion ECO Thermo Cooler is a green and sustainable project without producing any harmful gases to environment.
