7. DISMISSAL School ends at 1:50. Make sure that you let the teacher know if you are unsure about your transportation.

11. HOMEWORK Homework is due on Friday. A homework party is held each quarter.

12. INTERNET The internet has great links to math and reading practice.

13. JOURNALS Our class has lots of journals to keep a Record of our learning: Math, Reading, Science, and Writing.

15. LUNCHROOM Eating lunch is a time to relax and chat with friends. Make sure to keep lunchroom clean.

16. MANAGMENT The star chart helps keep track of classroom/school behavior.

17. NOTES Place all important notes from home in the red basket on teacher’s desk.

18. OUTSTANDING Try harder today than you did yesterday.

19. PERSONAL SPACE Everyone needs their own space. Always be an arm’s length away

21. READING Everything we do in second grade is to make us better readers!

22. SCIENCE LAB Our class will visit the science lab once a week.
