What is Transit Ridership? Ridership data is based on trip counts Average person takes 2 trips per day Roughly 10%-30% transfer from one form of transit to another in order to get to their final destination Transit modes include bus, trolley bus, vanpool, jitney, heavy/light rail transit, commuter rail, cable car, monorail and ferryboat
