2. Background: I have been at UAL/London College of Fashion for 14 years part time in various roles. I recently took on a full time position as the Fabrication Technician. Where I look after the BA 3D Effects, Makeup and Prosthetics within the school of Media & Communication at the Lime Grove campus. I have worked as an industry professional and I specialize in Prop Making, Prosthetic Makeup and the Sculpted Form. I also put on a fashion show for charity once a year and work as a stylist part time.

4. I use all my professional skills and I am very hands on with students in the work shops. This includes: Life casting Mould making [ plaster fibreglass silicon and fastcast ] Sculpting in clay and chavant Basic Millinery skills using buckram and Vera form to fabricate head dresses Puppet workshops using all kinds of light weight materials Prosthetic makeup using foam latex and silicon Hair punching into silicon Flocking Vac Forming Sculpting in Foam

What I hope to gain from the PG Cert: Firstly I hope to meet new people in similar situations who I can discuss problems I might have and to resolve or help me find solutions to these problems Also to build confidence especially when addressing large groups of students and different ways of communication so I can become more confident and more professional. I am excited to share and observe good working practice
