3. Assign Assist Assess 3 10. We will assign a series of 6 skill builders to test for mastery of proportion and percent. 11. To the right of each, click Assign. 12. Assign to as many students as you wish. Then click Assign. Mastery is set at 3 correct in a row within a set of 10 problems. You can change these parameters if you wish.

4. Assign Assist Assess 4 13. All skill builders have been assigned to the students in Eighth Grade Math. 14. Now click on “Set Date” to set the due date for each. 15. Pick a date. Here we will set the date for after school is out.

5. 16. When all dates have been set, students can begin taking the skill builders to demonstrate mastery. Mastery is set at 3 in a row in a set of 10. Assign Assist Assess Your Math Notebook 18. You can check their notebooks as evidence that they have done the work. 5 17. Encourage students to keep a math notebook for their calculations.
