Population
All individuals that belong to a group.
Sample
A portion of a population.

4. Types of Sampling Methods:
Simple Random Sample
All individuals in a population have an equal chance of being selected.
Systematic Random Sample
Individuals are selected at regular intervals in order.

Stratified Sample
Used when a population is broken up into groups or Strata.
The same proportion of each group are chosen at random.

9. Other Sampling Techniques:
Cluster Sample
When a particular group is used to represent a population.
Multi-Stage Sample
Multiple levels of random sampling.
Voluntary-Response Sample
Individuals being selected are ones that volunteered.
Convenience Sample
Not strictly random.
