page 10 ePort (RIS in ports) (automated) Integration of traffic information (RIS) into in-house IT-systems (of inland ports), Transport management assistance: Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) for port, terminal operations, Berth planning and safety, Cargo management (planning of cargo transhipment), Billing (harbour dues and cargo rates), Production of statistics, Interface to other modes (road, rail, maritime) etc.

page 11 Supporting the exchange of data between inland vessel operators and inland ports/ terminal operators, Compilation of RIS information (POS, lock, traffic,…) with transport and voyage data, Usage of ERI (ERINOT messages) enables: Dynamic user authorization – temporary access authorization for inland ports/ terminals, based on ERI contents, Improved data quality and handling of data for ports and terminals, Easier recording of changes of push convoys (lightering and [de- ]coupling,…).
