Task Card Templates Choose one slide below each week to create a task card for a Tech Tub station. Make sure to fill in the “Notes” below the task card with your information. Follow the directions below to complete this station activity. This task uses: Common Core State Standards Meiosis Objective: Review the processes of meiosis and chromosome composition by demonstrating content knowledge on multiple choice questions and interacting with diagrams. 1.Open the Snurfle Meiosis app. 2.Click on the Chromosome Quandry. 3.As you navigate through the interactive diagrams draw and label the following in you science notebook. 4.Chromosome, chromatid, and DNA CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RST.9-10.4 CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RST.9-10.4 Determine the meaning of symbols, key terms, and other domain-specific words and phrases as they are used in a specific scientific or technical context. CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RST.9-10.5 CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RST.9-10.5 Analyze the structure of the relationships among concepts in a text, including relationships among key terms. Identify the basic structure and function of nucleic acids (e.g., DNA, RNA) (LS-H-B1) 8. Describe the relationships among DNA, genes, chromosomes, and proteins (LS-HB1) 9. Compare mitosis and meiosis (LS- H-B2)
