3. Felicity’s hobby is photography. She puts some of her photos on the internet so that others can enjoy her achievements. The photos clearly belong to her as there is a copyright symbol under all of her photos. Xavier is looking for some images to put in a presentation for his scout group. Felicity has a photo that would be perfect for his presentation. WW What should Xavier do next ?

4. He wants to make sure he is not infringing copyright law. This symbol is attached to the image. Is Sam permitted to use this image? If so, under what conditions? Sam is searching for some images to accompany an information report he is writing for a school assignment. He searches online and finds an image that will be suitable.

5. The Wombats are a local band that has put some of their original tracks on iTunes. Justin has discovered the Wombats music and liked it so much that he downloaded 4 tracks from iTunes. He then uploads the tracks and shares them with his friends using a file sharing service (peer to peer). Has Justin respected the copyright of this music? Has he acted legally?
