The Bill of Rights The First Amendment- Speech, Religion, Press, Petition, Assembly Prior Restraint- government censorship of information before it is published or broadcast Slander is a false speech intended to damage a person’s reputation Libel applies to written or published statements

The Bill of Rights Continued 2 nd Amend- militia, armed forces of citizens 3rd Amendment- Quartering troops 4 th Amend- Probable Cause- reasonable basis to conduct a search or seizure Search/Arrest Warrant- orders that are specific to place, items, and person being searched
