Identify the independent and the dependent variables for this function. Answer: Temperature is the independent variable as it is unaffected by the amount of electricity used. Electricity usage is the dependent variable as it is affected by the temperature.

The range is the total charged from $0 to 120 × $4 or $480. Thus, a reasonable range is $0 to $480. Answer: Domain: 0–120; Range: $0–$480
