Courtesy, Respect, Discipline, Self Defense, Courage, Integrity, Spirit, Victory. You can find all 8 of these words in the Bible and once you achieve the first 7 then you will achieve Victory in Life through our Savior Jesus Christ.

Taekwondo with Religion
Martial Arts not only has a physical history; it also has a spiritual history. It was created without spiritual components, but its origins were spiritually based. This spiritual aspect seems to be lacking in many Martial Arts Schools in the United States, maybe because of the traditional relationship between Martial Arts and Buddhism. Since most occidentals do not understand or practice Buddhism, they usually ignore the spiritual aspects of Martial Arts . Understanding Martial Arts spiritual aspects does not mean one needs to be a Buddhist, or any other religion for that matter. It only means that one understands the reasons behind the basic principles and traditions of Martial Arts , such as why students are taught to avoid unnecessary violence and why it is stressed that students use their fighting skills responsibly.

COURTESY 1 PETER 3:8 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: We take this as it does not matter about who you are but that we are all brothers and sister of the Lord and should be courteous to each other. We should always hold back our tongue and we should speak of no evil word but of peace.

Sportsman like conduct shows courtesy to others.

RESPECT 1 PETER 1:17 “And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:” Showing respect for the Lord and for each other is the way we should all live our lives.

Showing Respect to the Lord and to other as the Lord has intended

DISCIPLINE 1 PETER 1:14 “As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:” The Discipline we are looking for is to be able to control oneself. Do not give in to temptation.

Disciplining yourself to be able to focus on what your doing and not be tempted to other things

SELF DEFENSE During the battle of David and Goliath, David looked to the Lord to find peace, courage, and strength. With the Lord David was able to defend himself and the Lords name. 1 SAMUEL 17. As humans we are always faced with challenges and advisory. These hurdles give us courage to conquer our fears. Only with the strength of the Lord are we truly able to overcome them with a complete inter peace. This is a true honor & blessing the Lord has given to us.

To protect yourself, friends and family as well as to defend the Lord Words.

COURAGE JOSHUA 1:6 “Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them. This gives us the strength and courage to challenge ourselves in all aspect not just martial arts but in life itself.

Providing yourself with the courage to overcome fears.

INTEGRITY JOB 27:4 “My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.” As Christians we all need to show integrity. It should not affect us if others speck badly of us. We are the Lord’s children in which he is our only judge. This should give us the strength to turn the other cheek.

Be proud of what you have accomplish and not what you have not and not show ill toward others with words

SPIRIT ST. JOHN 3:5 ”Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 1 CORINTHIANS 2:11 For what man knowth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God knowth no man, but the spirit of God. We look upon to the Holy Spirit to guide us and the Spirit he has given us to guide others.

Look upon to the Holy Spirit to guide us and the Spirit he has given us to guide others.

VICTORY 1 CORINTHIANS 15:57 “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. When we achieve all 7 of our tenants, then we will be able to achieve Victory in Life with the love of Jesus Christ.

Victory is been able to follow through with any task and achieve your goals
