3. What are the key messages for your IT Support Function & Business Users? We invite you to share the following key messages internally: Business Users: Testing has identified that there is no application functional or business process change Request your IT Support Function to provide a full impact assessment of required changes Participation during the Readiness Testing (21st January to 1st March 2013) is required to guarantee Gemini access post cutover We need a technical representative from your organisation to be an active participant in UKLC to support you to ensure you are up to date and prepared for cutover The proposed cutover window is estimated to be 12 hrs starting 2am on Sunday 9th June 2013, a back-out plan has been established with an allowance 6 hours has been set. IT Support Function: Complete impact assessment of all required changes for GRP Cutover, paying special attention to Citrix Client Version 11 installed on PCs with existing IT infrastructure and any potential non-Gemini services hosted on Citrix services e.g. MetaFrame, Xenapp Implement required GRP changes for Readiness Testing and Cutover (downloadable from www.xoserve.com/grp)www.xoserve.com/grp Provide suitable test environment for Readiness Testing that is connected to Legacy & Target Gemini and if required your non-Gemini services hosted on Citrix services The project team can provide support on required changes and testing, however due to the uniqueness of your IT systems and infrastructure configuration, only limited support can be provided on how the changes can be implemented.
