Interviewing Techniques Be on time. Dress Professionally. Make eye contact. Use a firm handshake. Have a breath mint. Listen to the interviewer and interject examples of how your experience supports the needs of the interviewer. Support your answers. Do not used canned answers – give examples when you answer a question.

Interviewing Techniques Cont. Practice your answers. Research the company. Understand what the company does, their corporate culture and what sets them a part from the competition. Use these facts in your interview! Make the connection. Show how your experience is the “right fit” for the position. Relate to the interviewer.
