3 UNCLASSIFIED CNIC BASH Program Vision – Execute a CNIC BASH program that effectively mitigates wildlife strike hazards to aircraft at Navy shore airfields in order to enhance operational readiness and protect resources for all stakeholders. Goal – Continually improve BASH program effectiveness by promoting transparent, synergistic cooperation among all stakeholders in managing risks to military aircraft, people, infrastructure and natural resources. Methodology – Developing trust is key: must create program practices and procedures that enhance BASH partnership between key personnel (Ops, EV, tenants) for policy development, risk assessment, risk management planning and emergent problem solving. – Develop measures to evaluate and improve BASH effectiveness.
