Reading/Language Arts Reading – phonics and reading comprehension Language Arts – morning message, reading, writing Writing – wide variety Journals – daily writing handwriting – Zaner-Bloser method Open Court Collections for Young Scholars – a phonics-based program that teaches sounds, blending, and comprehension and also strengthens writing

Recess We go outside for recess every day unless: Appropriate clothing
