7. How the LNAT is scored Verbal reasoning score is out of 42 – marked by Pearson VUE Universities are reluctant to say how much emphasis they place on the LNAT or say how they weight the scores against Higher results. They differ greatly. Essays are not marked by Pearson VUE, they are passed directly to Admissions Tutors to read. These are used in different ways.
