BIG IDEA: BIG IDEA: In modern society, there is constant tension between promoting global culture and economy and preserving local culture and economy.

Partner Work: Read your Local/Global scenario With your partner, list at least 3 Pro’s of your perspective and 3 Con’s of the other perspective (this will prepare you for the debate) Be ready to use your arguments in a structured class debate.
