XE Experience: System o Early preparations BEIS July 2011 CAS and Luminis July 2012 DBEU March 2013 Began work on XE modules ◦Employee Profile, Student Advisor, & Faculty Grade Entry March 2013-April 2015 o Moved XE modules to production April 2015 o Configured and tested Employee Profile over the summer 2015 o Implemented in production September 2015 Prepare System

XE Experience: Responses Overall Positive Comments: o “Love the layout of the dashboard!” o “It looked clean, easy-to-navigate and user-friendly” o “It looks good. I like the layout. It is easy to read and find what information I was looking for on the dashboard.”

XE Experience: Responses Constructive Responses: o Should the Tools button be empty? o Accessing the printable pay statements takes longer for payroll. o Payroll would like to keep the ability to print pay statements on 1-page o Enter Time and Request Time Off go to the same page

XE Experience: Lesson’s Learned o My timeline kept moving. o Test My Team for employees who have multiple positions and direct reports. o Discovered a defect on My Team for leave method by job. o Job Summary sorts transactions by Personnel Date instead of Effective Date o Print Friendly pay statement was a challenge for us. o Test logo on the timeout and logout pages. o Consider where Employee Profile links will be placed earlier in the process.

XE Experience: Summary o Being an early adopter is a positive and beneficial experience o There are many configurations o Coordination with system support is needed to configure o Develop a good testing plan and strategy o Recommend a pilot phase o Overall it is a good experience
