Subject and object pronouns I me I am lost. Can you help me? I want you to go with me. An object pronoun comes after a verb or a preposition

He him Carlos is from Mexico. He is a new student. I want to talk to him. He is the English teacher. I want him to teach me.

Possessive Adjectives and possessive pronouns My mine This is my book. This book is mine. Possessive adjectives come before nouns. Possessive pronouns are not followed by nouns.

Possessive Nouns Possessive nouns can be people, places or things that have possession of something. We add ‘ apostrophe and s >>> ‘s

Singular names: For example: Lama Lama’s room The child’s bag The lady’s dress 1- If the name or singular noun doesn’t end in –s, we add ‘s.

Singular nouns: 2-If the name or singular noun ends in –s add ‘ or ‘s for the possessive form: For example: Carlos Carlos’ room or Carlos’s room

Plural nouns: 1- If a plural noun ends in –s, add ‘ for the possessive form. For example: The boys’ room The students’ bags

2- If a plural form doesn’t end in –s, add ‘s. For example: The men’s house. The children’s pens.
