9. Welder Your Welding supervisor has decided to offer you a salary position. Currently you make $20 per hour and work 40 hours per week and 10 hours of overtime at time and a half. You do not receive paid vacation or sick leave; although, you usually take 2 weeks off for vacation and 1 week for sick leave. The salaried position would pay $50,000 a year, but you would not be able to earn overtime; however, you will have to work extra hours. You receive 2 weeks of paid vacation and 2 weeks of sick leave.
