The Military has twelve branches or service: five which include active duty, and seven part time duty. The active duty services consist of members that are full time in the military, and are either deployed overseas or domestically. The part-time duty services consist of two types either reservists or National Guard. They train one weekend out of each month at a base that is located nearby.

The U.S. Marine corps were first assembled on November 10, 1775, and ever since that day the U.S. Marine corps have been the first branch of the armed forces to serve in every war. Since the day the U.S. Marines were born they have mounted over 300 assaults on different foreign shores, ranging from the artic to the tropics.

The U.S. Air Force consists of three core values that help remind those serving what it takes to get the mission completed. The Air Force’s first core value is “Integrity First”. The Air Force’s second core value is “Service before Self”. The Air Force’s third core value is Excellence in all we do”.

Any given day, in your Navy, a team of more than 600,000 professional Sailors and civilians work together around the globe to perform their mission: “deter aggression and, if deterrence fails, win our Nation’s wars”. The mission of the Navy is to “maintain, train and equip combat-ready Naval forces capable of winning wars, deterring aggression and maintaining freedom of the seas”.
