National Health Workforce Taskforce  COAG has agreed to an investment of $96m in clinical training in Simulated Learning Environments (SLEs)  NHWT will develop a national strategy to complement and maximise existing effort and investment Stage 1:  Australia wide mapping of the current SLE programs and planned future programs. This will include an assessment of ‘SLE readiness’ of particular sites. Stage 2:  Development and establishment of new centres and programs and the re-development of some existing environments. 11

18. Next 12 months We are on the verge of of a very exciting phase with the prospect of significant investment in simulation at a national level. ASSH will seek some seed funding from the govt. in order to continue to grow and prosper as an important peak body within the simulation industry. 18
