What is the Hesperia Recreation and Park District? HRPD is an independent special district created in 1957 by Hesperia area residents to provide recreation facilities and programs for the proper use of leisure time and conservation of the recreational and open space resources of the area. HRPD is located in the High Desert region of Southern California and encompasses approximately 125 square miles, primarily within the City of Hesperia, but including some of the unincorporated areas of Summit Valley and Oak Hills.

Joint Use Agreement Overview Formal JUA’s are great if they are kept simple. The process may kill or greatly delay the project. Informal JUA’s can have a higher degree of risk, exposure or feeling of vulnerability. Remember the KISS principle.
