Management Board Meeting April 24-25, 2013 Hvar, Croatia Recommendation to Communities WP2L.6 Description: « In this WP, the monitoring and remote management system will be developed containing all the main part from communication architecture to communication protocols, The system will be demonstrated in Lapua building up the whole system from a couple of end-users to the supervision room and further to the server of the global level. The feedback control system will be also tested in relevant case in Lapua. The full scale demonstration building up of the monitoring and remote management system will be realised in the community’s vertical WPs, i.e. in Lapua, Cernier, Hartberg and Hvar. However the recommendation for the realisation will be given in this WP separately for every city. »

Management Board Meeting April 24-25, 2013 Hvar, Croatia Recommendation to Communities Task 2L.6.6: Building up the monitoring and remote management facilities including regional and global levels for Lapua, Cernier, Hartberg and Hvar community Global level facilities will be built and maintained and operated by SEBF and regional system may join the global according to SCHE recommendations. In Lapua case, the regional remote monitoring server and software will be located in Tampere and purchased by SEBF. The chosen case for remote management in Lapua is managed by SEBF and recommendations for improvements will be done. In addition, local dash board display software will be developed. The updates to existing building management system belong to Lapua. The other regional level servers and software will be located in the Solution- community spaces and they will be operated by relevant community operator. Connection and maintaining of separated energy end-user/plants to the monitoring and remote management system will be executed in context of implementation the building/plant automation system in demonstration cases (vertical WP’s). Also other buildings can be connected to the monitoring/management system according to the communal decisions.

Installation of demo cases in Hvar and Hartberg is suggested to be during the School summer vacation Preddvor has been offered the same possibility to join the global system, but is not required to do so.
