9 Conclusions  Microvascular complications of Type-2 Diabetes are associated with changes in coagulation parameters.  Differences in coagulation parameters were seen in diabetics with complications of nephropathy and retinopathy compared to diabetics without these complications.  The magnitude of the coagulation abnormalities is unlikely to cause symptomatic thrombotic events and hence may be clinically silent.
