The Mt. Pleasant Academy of Energy and Sustainability prepares students for college and career opportunities that utilize engineering for the betterment of our planet. Through collaboration with local industry professionals and work-based leaning experiences, graduates will be responsible citizens that are dedicated to service to society.

Required for NAF Track Certification Minimum 135 hours – 1 elective credit Summer or part-time during school Related to Energy & Sustainability Final work-based learning placement is a shared responsibility of the program, industry, and student/family Compensated

Led by volunteers from local business/industry, administrators, & parents Brief monthly meetings Generate opportunities for work-based learning Attract and cultivate new and existing board members Provide other assistance as needed
