Roles of LP, Pharmacist, Medication Certified Staff and Nurse
Licensed Practitioner: may diagnose and prescribe treatment/medications. May dispense medication. Pharmacist: dispenses medications according to a licensed practitioner’s order. Medication Certified Staff: may administer medications according to a licensed practitioner’s order to children in any DCF licensed or operated child-caring facility or extended day program.
