The past development polluted the environment and wasted natural resources severely. The sustainable development. Sustainable development is a long-term planning which focuses on the environment and preserving natural resources. It is a form of development which tries to protect Earth as well as improve standards of living.

We are consuming fossil fuels at a much higher rate, which produces much carbon dioxide and contributes to air, water and soil pollution and causes global warming and acid rain. On top of this, we are running out of the fossil fuels.
