Challenges in Belgium ETCS Problematic TBL1+ end of 2015 or…… ETCS Memor will be dismantled as of Jan, 1, 2016 Problems on some locomotive types Class 66: prototype testing failed G2000: manufacturer refuses to release source codes BR 186: ETCS different countries not compatible (already 4 types of ETCS in The Netherlands) Not clear specifications Software 2.3.0.d gives still problems Not uniformity of ETCS systems gives drivers complexity and sector does not know which system is the right one now  Leasing companies don’t know how to continue since manufactures are not willing/able to solve the problems Sector will react with letter to the Authorities
