Note: Wire check correction need to be carried out again if wiring is changed or corrected

34 Page 34 Inverter Product Range A5MSY - Features  Priority Room Setting Allow user to set a particular room which takes precedence over the operation mode of other rooms For example, if Room A is the priority room, when COOL mode is selected in Room A while Room B, C & D are operating in the following mode: Operation mode in Room B, C & D Status for Room B, C & D COOL or DRY or FANCurrent operation mode is maintained HEAT The unit enters Standby Mode. Operation resumes when Room A unit stops operating. AUTO If the unit is set to COOL mode, operation continues. If set to HEAT mode, it enters Standby Mode. Operation resumes when Room A unit stops operating.

37 Page 37 Inverter Product Range  There are 5 operating modes: i.Cool mode When Tr ≥ Ts - 1.5°C -Comp, ID Fan and OD Fan ON When Tr ≤ Ts - 2°C ** -Comp and OD Fan OFF, ID Fan remain ON **When room temperature falling below compressor cut off point even on the lowest operation frequency, compressor will stop operates. Operating Mode Time Tr <= Ts - 2°C Comp will stop Lowest Freq Tr = Room Temperature Ts = Set Temperature

38 Page 38 Inverter Product Range  There are 5 operating modes: ii.Heat mode When Ts > Tr - 1.0°C -Comp, ID Fan and OD Fan ON When Tr ≥ Ts + 1.5°C ** -Comp and OD Fan OFF, ID Fan remain at lowest speed if ID coil ≥ 27°C **When room temperature rising above compressor cut off point even on the lowest operation frequency, compressor will stop operates. 41 Page 41 Inverter Product Range  There are 5 operating modes: v.Auto mode (for multi split) Without Priority Room Setting If more than 1 indoor is operating, priority is given to the first unit that was turned on If a unit is turned on later to the same operating mode as the first unit, the unit will operate as normal If a unit that are turned on later to the different operating mode as the first unit, the units will enter Standby mode With Priority Room Setting Unit operation subjected to Priority Room operating mode Operating Mode

42 Page 42 Inverter Product Range  Communication between ID and OD Master by outdoor unit Indoor PCB transmits signal to outdoor PCB every 0.5s. Outdoor unit will response to indoor once the valid data is received If the data communication line between indoor and outdoor disrupted for 15s continuously; Compressor will stop, OD fan will stop with fan delay timer. ID LED starts blinking error If the communication resumes within 15s; error code will be cleared and compressor restarts after 3 minutes If the communication does not resume after 15s; unit unable to restart and ID LED continues to blink Communication

43 Page 43 Inverter Product Range  To prevent frequent compressor ON/OFF and to allow pressure equalization The compressor will be on 3 minutes stand-by after turning OFF before it is allowed to turn ON OD fan delay by Off timer to improve pressure equalization and to prevent refrigerant from entering into evaporator Minimum Run Control

48 Page 48 Inverter Product Range Indoor coil freeze prevention  Outdoor fan control is carried out: Only available in cooling mode When the indoor coil temperature < 2°C, the compressor starts to drop the frequency This protection will cut in when: Indoor coil temperature < 0°C for more than 180s. Compressor will stop, OD fan stop after 30s and indoor fan can only run at lowest fan speed The unit can only be restarted after 3 minutes When the indoor coil temperature > 13°C, the compressor frequency will be reset based on the OD ambient, room and set temperature

50 Page 50 Inverter Product Range  From Indoor panel When error occurs, indoor LED display will start blinking continuously: Green light The blinking pattern does not indicate of error details The error details could be retrieved from handset Error Indication

51 Page 51 Inverter Product Range Error Indication  From Wireless Handset (GS02) Retrieve error code (steps) i.Hold down On Timer Cancel or Off Timer Cancel for 5 seconds until “ ” indication flashes on the handset temperature display section ii.Press again On Timer Cancel or Off Timer Cancel repeatedly until ID buzzer produces a long beep means there is error occur. Error code will be indicates on the display (refer error code table in the manual) iii.If it is a short beep or two consecutive beeps, indicates No Error on the unit iv.To cancel error code display, press On Timer Cancel or Off Timer Cancel for 5 seconds or leave the button not press for 1 minute
