Main image: Daniel Craig as Bond. Not a star at the time of film’s release, so no personal billing but dominates the frame in long shot. Facial expression tense, square jawed, determined, masculine; gaze – not looking at Vesper. His mission is more important than romance. Costume: suit and bow-tie suggest formality, but untied – ready for action Body language: caught in mid-stride, head turned, jacket flapping – action pose, suggesting genre Colour scheme blue-grey and black – downbeat, urban, could suggest early dawn Prop: the all-important gun with silencer, suggesting spy/action genre Credit block Release date Clever deployment of the Bond franchise - 007 within the typography Secondary character Vesper Lynd: glamorous female, but static and passive, looking at Bond. Elegant, sophisticated, figure-revealing black dress – evening wear. Film company logos Target audience – Bond fans, wide international release. Eventual age rating was 12. Appeals to both genders (eye candy)
