Membership types Annual memberships are the most popular, followed by summer then free Over 10% of our members doesn’t pay for their memberships…

- Retainment percentage has been slightly increasing (65 -> 64 -> 60%) - We are mostly new members, so we must not forget to cater to this group. Joe Silverberg Membership Retainment 35.9% (275/765) of new members this year haven’t earned a rating 37.8% (329/870) of members in 2010 never earned a rating 40.0% (341/851) in 2009

Boat Checkouts -Everything sailed more this year! -Techs, sloops and windsurfing are most popular -J-fleet sailed twice as much as keelboats! -Does not account for: youth (small boats, J-29, windsurfing) and sailing team (420s)

Boat Checkout Types 420s, Sloops, J-fleet, Lasers used primarily for day sailing Keelboats used primarily (70%) for lessons J-fleet and Sloops used most for conferences

Lesson Popularity -Badger sloops and J-fleet beyond capacity -Keelboats much less popular this year -Lasers and scows much more popular this year Shows the percentage of filled spots in lessons

Lesson Cancellations -About 15% cancellation rate for club as a whole -Overall less lessons cancelled this year -About 30% of ASA courses cancelled due to low or no enrollment -J-fleet, techs, windsurfing and scow lessons filled much more this year -Many more cancelled keelboat, laser and byte lessons this year -26% of all Toy Boat lessons cancelled, 30% of SUP lessons cancelled

Ratings for active members - Includes “non-enforceable” ratings such as keelboat crew ratings, tech/kiting classrooms, etc… Shows number of members who have some rating on the fleet (including ones that cannot be used to take out a boat)

Ratings given out -Techs are by far the most popular fleet -Less ratings overall this year -Still very few racing keelboat ratings (only 2 racing keelboat skippers, one was HOI) -Many more cruising keelboat ratings (new boat this year) 65 Cruising 9 Racing (44/16 without crew)
