3.  Camp Details ◦ June 22, 2015 through July 9, 2015 ◦ 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. ◦ Louisburg Elementary School  Read to Achieve Steering Committee: ◦ Facilitated by Dr. Stewart ◦ Established to promote district wide communication and solicit input from teachers on the RTA initiative as well as provide structure and expectations for the RTA Summer Camp ◦ Composed of school and district level curriculum resource teachers (8), two assistant principals, and one 3 rd grade teacher from each elementary school ◦ Held first meeting on April 22, 2015  Established the expectations for RTA staff and components for the RTA Summer Camp Application  Application distributed electronically on May 1, 2015

4.  Identification of students: ◦ Will identify potential students as early as May 22 in an effort to prepare parents, establish the number of staff needed, and determine bus routes ◦ Participation will be encouraged but not required RTA Summer Camp staff will begin planning on Thursday, May 28 from 3:30p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
