ICP – placement I. 120 hours (40 h. for studying literature, preparing and making final report; 80 h. of the practice in the facility) Community facilities (Nursing homes, long- term departments, „Paraple“, day care centre, volunteer, …) Project for credit – description of human needs of people with damaged selfsufficiency and selfcare, cca 2000 words (5 pages), reflection

Goal the role of the community care in taking care of the needs of seniors and people with physical or mental handicap who are at risk of impairment or loss of self care abilities about the continuum of health and social care, forms of health and social services provided in community as well as related legislature the mission, organization and provided services of facilities that offer help to their clients

Organization of the practice Students can arrange for the practice individually at their hometown The student will arrange for the practice with the management of the facility The student will pick up forms for the practice, including contract form for the facility at the study department

Signed contract will be delivered to Marie Zvoníčkova at the Institute of Nursing, e-mail: marie.zvonickova@lf3.cuni.cz, tel.: 267102844 marie.zvonickova@lf3.cuni.cz The students who are not able to arrange for the practice by themselves will contact Marie Zvoníčkova The students who have chosen a facility offered by the Institute of Nursing and signed for the facility in a timely manner do not have to arrange for the contract with the facility. The Institute of Nursing will send the list of the students directly to the facility.
