2 3 Impact Areas: Education- help children to achieve their potential Income- Promote Financial stability towards financial independence Health- Increase Health & decrease risky behaviors Every program will fit into one of these areas These areas were adopted by the United Way of Clark, Champaign and Madison Counties in 2012 as part of the Live United, United Way World Wide Initiative.

5 Online Process If you don’t have an account you will need to set one up using your e-mail address and a password of your choice If you already have an account, your password will be the same as last year, if you lost it, contact us and we can reset it. You may save your information and come back at anytime if you can not complete it in one session

6 Online Process- Continued You will want to print a copy for your records as well, as this information will be useful in future reports/applications You must click the submit button to complete the application process. You will receive an automated e-mail saying your application has been submitted. Please retain a copy of this confirmation for your records.

7 Clark County Agencies In Clark County, there are 3 different applications One for Clark County Health One for Clark County Income One for Clark County Education It is your responsibility to choose into which impact area your program falls. Some agencies have several programs and may have to use all links. Some agencies may have more than one program in the same impact area. * In Champaign and Madison Counties, there is only one application

8 In The Application All fields are required and there are some text limited fields We require one attachment of the budget. Our budget sheet is also on our website. You can apply for up to 3 programs within the same application. Each program is on a separate page If you are applying for only one program skip over pages 4-6 and submit application, etc. You may only use your email account once per application link.

10 Other Tidbits The software we are using is created by Scholar Select/Smarter Select You will receive some automated e-mails from: automated.email@smarterselect.com make sure this isn’t blocked or going to junk These e-mails will verify your account set-up, your application submission, etc. You can’t respond to these.
