13 13 NOT EVERYONE WHO PRAYS WILL BE HEARD! 2) Acceptable prayer must be offered with real purpose and motive! “You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures” (Jas. 4:3)

14 14 NOT EVERYONE WHO PRAYS WILL BE HEARD! 3) Prayer is a privilege for the righteous! –Psalm 66:18, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear.” –1 Peter 3:12, “For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”
