13 Taxonomy” simply means “classification”, so the well-known taxonomy of learning objectives is an attempt (within the behavioural paradigm) to classify forms and levels of learning.behavioural It identifies three “domains” of learning (each of which is organized as a series of levels or pre- requisites. It is suggested that one cannot effectively — or ought not try to — address higher levels until those below them have been covered

14 TOPIC 21 ST CENTURY APPROACHES TECHNIQUES/MODES 1. Sorting rocks Observing & Monitoring SkillsSurvey of a Grounds in community 2.Hard rocks and soft rocks Listening & SpeakingExperiment and, make conclusions based on evidence 3. Magnetic material Giving Directional skillsBy Showing children what happens when two magnet put together i.e. attraction/repulsion 4. Stretching and squeezing Questioning SkillsBy showing them elasticity and what happens when a spring is compressed or stretched. 5.Friction Encouraging SkillsTo show them anti-lubricant materials and tell them the process of lubrication by demonstration 6. Materials Intervening SkillsTo show the conductivity and prevention from conductivity 7.Forces Encouraging/Intervening SkillsDemonstration, multimedia presentation
