What role you have in stopping/preventing Bullying: Bystander – use positive peer pressure to encourage others to be Empathetic Use positive words – avoid sarcasm, teasing Offer a positive or encouraging comment – helping someone else feel good about themselves only makes you feel better Possible Discussion: Think about things you have seen: Are they bullying, what did you do, how do you think that person felt?

You are telling not to get the person in trouble; You are telling to STOP bullying Possible Discussion:  What would stop you from reporting?  How could you overcome those things?  Once you have reported to an adult:  What would you like to see happen that would make our school safer?

13. Think about things you have seen: Are they bullying, what did you do, how do you think that person felt? What are some things that make it difficult to stand up for yourself and others?  What would stop you from reporting & how could you overcome those things?  What would you like to see happen that would make our school safer?
