How to Prepare for Bed-side Teaching  Set clear objectives  Proper selection of patients according to the level of students  Common diseases should be given due prominence  Patients selected should not be very ill, have good physical findings, cooperative  Delegation of responsibility to the group leader to help organize teaching  Be careful not to disrupt the patients management
