Catering: Level 1 – e.g. foundation certificate (English, maths, IT, personal and social development and 2 vocational NVQ courses food service and food prep – no entry qualifications) Level 2 – e.g. VRQ Professional Cookery and VRQ Professional Food and Beverage Service – 4 GCSE’s at grade D/E) Level 3 – e.g. BTEC Diploma in Hospitality (students enter at 16 with 5 GCSE’s grade C or above) Tourism: Level 2 - e.g. Certificate in Travel and Tourism (with NCFE Air Cabin Crew) – entry 4 GCSE grade D/E Level 3 - e.g. Diploma in Travel and Tourism (with NCFE Air Cabin Crew/Resort Rep/Spanish and event management) – entry GCSE’s grade C or above University courses: level 4 and level 5 Foundation Degree in Events Management (Level 7 and 8 EQF)
