1. Proverbs 3:7-8

2.  Proverbs 3:7 -- Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and turn away from evil.

3.  For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.

4.  There is a kind who is pure in his own eyes, Yet is not washed from his filthiness. There is a kind— oh how lofty are his eyes! And his eyelids are raised in arrogance.

5.  But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE.”

6.  1 Corinthians 8:1 -- Now concerning things sacrificed to idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge makes arrogant, but love edifies.

7.  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS.

8.  For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

10.  “For the LORD gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding…. For wisdom will enter your heart And knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.”

11.  Give instruction to a wise man and he will be still wiser, Teach a righteous man and he will increase his learning.

12.  Psalm 19:7 -- The law of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

13.  Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

14.  It will be healing to your body and refreshment to your bones.
