Service Animal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) A dog who is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. ADA Provision Miniature horses are now acceptable service animals.

No. However, many factors effect a dog’s ability to become a service animal. The most common breeds for service animals are: Golden Retriever and Labrador Retriever because of their temperament. About that… You need to qualify for a service animal. If you qualify you can simply see a coordinator or choose a dog - miniature horse to go through training!
