Introduction Topic: Population vs Transportation Revenues Purpose: Researching the correlation between population in Canada and revenues made by transportation companies from 1995-2000

Introduction Question: With population steadily rising in all provinces and territories, will revenues in the transportation sector rise also? Hypothesis: With the increasing population in Canada, citizens will turn to more public modes of transportation, in turn raising revenues for transport.

Therefore... Since the correlation coefficient equalled (.95) we can now say that population and transportation revenues positively correlate, with a strong correlation coefficient. Therefore, I must accept my hypothesis.
