Have you ever heard of an animal that eats poisons leaves? Come and learn all about Koalas adaptations, what they eat, and how they climb! First I will tell you about their adaptations. Lets get started!

3. Adaptations
Koalas don’t have good eyesight but they do have good sense of smell. This animal has different types of fur depending on which part of Australia they come from. Koalas have a big nose so they can tell what type of eucalyptus leaves it can eat and can’t eat. There legs make them to be awesome swimmers. All Koalas eat only 4 kinds of eucalyptus leaves.

4. How they climb?
At last, you’ll explore how they climb. The Koala gets a good hold on the tree branch. Koalas possess are very strong for their arms. They have great coordination they leap branch to branch!

5. What they eat?
Do you know what these animal munches on? Koalas have a diet it is eucalyptus leaves. They eat at night. This animal eats five hours, they'll eat more than half a pound of eucalyptus leaves. There are hundred of types of leaves. My animal is a plant eater because it eats leaves. Koalas eat over a kilogram of leaves per a day.
