climate Savannas have warm temperatures year round. They only get 4 inches of rain in the dry season. They get about 15-25 inches of rain in the wet season.

SEASONS There are two different seasons, a very long dry season (winter) and a very wet season (summer).

Biotic Factors Wild dogs, bears, lions, crocodile. There are about 40 different kind of species. These different herbivores provide a wide range of food for carnivores, like lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals and hyenas

Characteristics The savanna is 2.5 million square kilometers. The savanna is about one quarter size of Canada. A savanna is a rolling grassland scattered with grasses and shrubs and isolated trees.
