Typography: The art of type and the technique of designing letter forms

A good understanding of typography is essential for a this class. For this assignment you will learn the basics of typography by researching and defining some terms. This will introduce you to the various categories of text and some of the ways that text can be manipulated.

Part 1: Answer the questions by typing the answers in a Photoshop document. You may keep the answers in simple form or you may create a more visually pleasing display of your answers as long as they are in a coherent fashion.
